DIPLOMACY, SOVEREIGNTY AND SHIFTING PARADIGMS

See Registration Below

The Women Ambassadors Conference is an annual event organized by faculty and students of Howard University in conjunction with the Women Ambassadors Foundation, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.  The 30th Annual Women Ambassadors Conference is held under the stewardship of the College of Arts and Science of Howard University, the Office of the Provost of Howard University, the Africa Prosperity Network and the OAS (Organization of American States).

The goal of the Annual Women Ambassadors Conference is three-fold: to celebrate the work of women in diplomacy and related fields; to provide role models to students, particularly students from constituencies that are less represented in the diplomatic field; to inform students from various universities around the globe and the general public about major issues in international affairs.

The Annual Women Ambassadors Conference has become, over the years, a true institution in the Washington DC diplomatic landscape and in other capitals. In 2026, the 30th Annual Women Ambassadors Conference is taking place on three continents.  The first component of the Conference took place this year on February 4 in Accra, Ghana in collaboration with the Africa Prosperity Network.  The second component will take place on Thursday, March 26 at Howard University and will conclude on Friday, March 27, 2025 at the OAS with a step show and more. The last component will take place on May 15 in Paris, France.

Stay tuned on this website for any updates on the panels.

Join the Ambassadors, Faculty and Students in person on Thursday, March 26 and Friday, March 27!
